The Koppelman Group is dedicated to the success of its students.
鈥I couldn鈥檛 have imagined going through the college process without the assistance and guidance provided by the Koppelman Group. Caroline ensured that we understood every aspect of applications, and helped us to destress at a time when we could have been extremely overwhelmed. Throughout our time together, Caroline was always gracious with her advice, knowledgeable about the process itself, and willing and able to make sense of what seemed like utter chaos. I highly recommend the services of the Koppelman group.鈥

The overall acceptance rate for the Class of 2029 was only .

One of the most confusing applications of the coveted top-tier schools is the University of Chicago. If you tackled their application, you鈥檝e experienced this already. It鈥檚 not a rejection, but it鈥檚 not the early celebration you were ready for either. If you鈥檙e feeling deflated or even a little angry, you鈥檙e allowed to feel that way. Take a second. Then let鈥檚 figure out your next move.
Receiving an early rejection from Yale can feel like a punch in the gut. Even if you hadn鈥檛 thought that getting in would be smooth sailing, you hoped that the hard work you鈥檝e put in through high school would be recognized and honored with an acceptance.
You submitted your UVA application with high hopes, maybe even imagining yourself walking The Lawn next fall. And now, you鈥檙e stuck in the waiting game. We know it sucks, you wanted a yes, but they gave you a 鈥渘ot yet.鈥 However, if you're feeling disappointed or frustrated, you're not alone. Take a moment. Breathe. Then let鈥檚 talk strategy.
A student who is a math major is like the humanities major of STEM. Math is as much cerebral and conceptual as it is tactile, and it is a lot less 鈥榗areer oriented鈥 than, say, a major in mechanical engineering, computer science, or biology. Please note, we are not at all saying that students who major in math do not have a strong career future. It鈥檚 just a little harder to differentiate yourself from other applicants with straight-As and strong SATs. But that is why we are here.
Let鈥檚 be honest: the odds are that, unless you live in Delaware, you haven鈥檛 given much thought to the University of Delaware. And let鈥檚 be honest a second time: Delaware is a bit of a blind spot for us. People live there? What happens in that place? Well, we did a very high-tech Google search and discovered loads of . Like, for example, Delaware has more chickens than people. And it鈥檚 known as because Thomas Jefferson called it a 鈥渏ewel鈥 for its advantageous coastal placement.
